Care & Share is coming!


WHEN is it? Saturday, August 20th, starting at 8:00 AM
WHERE is it? At the northwest corner of Quincy & Picadilly. We will have tents and tables up in the vacant lot next to the 7-11.
WHAT is it? It’s a giveaway day, where we will be handing out free stuff to the community. Everything from clothes to food to school supplies.
So it’s like a garage sale? No, not really. It’s all free. We’re not looking for donations, it’s not a fundraiser, and the stuff isn’t just hand-me-down junk.
Free? Seriously? Seriously. Free.
Why? Harvest believes that one of the jobs of a church is to bless the community. We don’t exist for ourselves, we exist for the community. Now is a time when lots of people are unexpectedly struggling, and we want to help out in any way we can. Care & Share is a way we can love our neighbors and make an impact, however small.
