Advent

Advent is the season that celebrates the arrival of the Savior. For centuries, people looked forward to the coming of the One who would bring justice and peace to a broken world. Promises were made through prophets; people believed and waited; others doubted and moved on. The world was falling apart due to corrupt political leaders and corrupt spiritual leaders. The poor were the majority and were mistreated at every turn, while the rich were only concerned about themselves and the economy collapsed.

And still the faithful looked forward to the advent of the Messiah.

This is a timely series that will focus on how our situation in the world today mirrors that of the first Christmas, and how just as they eagerly awaited the first coming of the Savior, we eagerly await the second.
